Summary This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Supervision, Enforcement And Fair Lending Division, Office of Supervision Examinations, Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
As an Executive Assistant, you will:
Manage and/or personally perform all administrative work associated with the day-to-day management of the office.
Coordinate and facilitate the administrative work internally and externally with other offices throughout the CFPB and the regional offices.
Supervise the day- to-day activities of a staff of administrative and clerical support personnel who provide services to subordinate managers and senior staff.
Monitor all office administrative functions and transactions; track status of projects, program operations, and responses to correspondence and other requests; advise the Assistant Director and/or Deputy Assistant Directors of any potential shortfalls; and recommend solutions to deal with Division and administrative concerns.
Gather pertinent background information and arrange for the development of briefing materials, talking points and executive summaries prepared for the Assistant Director and Deputy Assistant Directors, or work with staff members to develop such materials that meet standards for clarity and conciseness, taking into consideration the views of the Assistant Director and Deputy Assistant Directors as well as the current management and political climate.
