Job Description:

Vector Security is looking for Full-Time Customer Service Representatives for our 24/7 Monitoring Center located in Warrendale, PA. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing the highest quality customer experience to both our external and internal customers by responding to alarm signals in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will assess the needs of our customers in an effort to not only meet but exceed their expectations. Attention to detail, focus and the ability to communicate effectively are a must.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Shifts are 12 hours with a simple two-week rotation, 3 days one week, 4 days the second week. Three days off every other weekend.  Work on average 15 days per month so you can spend more time with family and friends.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Process and handle alarm signals accurately and in a timely fashion.

  • Dispatch proper authorities (Police/Fire/EMS) per established procedures.

  • Respond to inbound calls from customers.

  • Place outbound calls to customer or responsible party and provide accurate information so they can make an informed decision regarding their alarm.

  • Provide top quality customer service over the telephone.

  • Assist customers with their accounts by updating information.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Customer focused

  • Ability to quickly navigate within multiple systems

  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM

  • Detail Oriented

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check

 Candidates who have prior experience in customer service/alarm monitoring/call center roles are encouraged to apply.  Both entry level and experienced candidates will be considered for the position.  Solid work history is desired.
