Thisposition is to assist the Warehouse Operations Manager and Supervisor in thedaily operation of the distribution department and be the main contact for thecustomer service group.

This position will beresponsible for.....

  • Analyze inbounds forcross dock opportunities and track inbounds for on time delivery.
  • Assist in anydiscrepancies of shipments including providing proof of deliveries/pickup.
  • File carrier claims asneeded.
  • Review shortage reportsand communicate with Schedulers and Production.
  • Check short report andrequest all product on Micro hold be released in order to cover orders for thenext day.
  • Check daily demand ofre-supply items.
  • Function as liaisonbetween Customer Service and Warehouse regarding shipments
  • Schedule inbound andoutbound appointments and keep Dock Schedule updated.
  • Make adjustments tocustomer orders when necessary or requested.
  • Communicates withcustomer service/transportation any anomalies regarding outbound shipments andappointment delays.
  • Schedules and maintainsactivity of finished goods to and from cold storage facility.
  • Work with cyclecounters to analyze inventory discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Ensure all orders fromprevious day are closed.
  • Provide support for monthend close by monitoring Open Order Report.

Qualification:You might be a greatfit if....


  • High school diploma orGED required and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Excelto include spreadsheets and formulas and outlook email is required.
  • Experience withapplications such as warehouse management systems is required.
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.
