Tax Senior Leader: Income Tax Team

The Income Tax team is responsible for tax compliance for the firm's U.S. and Canadian partnerships and C-corporations.  The team is also responsible for leading tax projects.

The Tax Senior Leader will be responsible for leading the firm's tax compliance and projects.  This position requires significant experience with U.S. federal and state tax principles; an eagerness to learn; strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the team responsible for ensuring compliance with all taxing jurisdiction rules, regulations and reporting requirements

• Review legislative, regulatory, and judicial changes to tax rules in order to identify and articulate impacts to the firm and its partners

• Lead complex tax projects and initiatives that require interaction with outside service providers, cross-functional teams, firm leadership and/or the firm's partners

• Communicate tax issues to firm leadership and the firm's partners

• Lead jurisdictional examinations

• Lead various initiatives within the firm's Finance Division

• Develop future leaders of the firm

Skills & Experience

• Broad exposure working on diverse tax technical issues


• Partnership and/or state tax experience


• Ability to engage, inspire and develop others


• Ability to communicate technical tax issues to both other tax professionals and to non-tax professionals


• Ability to identify and lead through new issues

• 10+ years of tax experience


• Senior manager level or higher in corporate tax department or public accounting


• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accountancy


• CPA required
