Responsibilities

Our Dallas, TX office is growing and Dematic is continuing to hire top talent! We currently have an urgent need for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our winning team. The HRBP/HR Site Lead will have the exciting opportunity to drive a people- and growth-focused culture. You will partner with senior management, supervisors, and employees to drive engagement, performance, and development, all in support of our operations execution. You will even have the opportunity to use creative problem-solving skills to drive process that is needed to fuel the strategy and growth of the business through its people.

Dematic’s Human Resource Generalist role will include, but is not limited to:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, inclusive of onboarding, immersion planning, and continued growth and development. This includes conducting templated phone screens for overflow interviews, drafting job offers, completing background check processes, and completing new hire orientations as needed for work site.

  • Drive a people-focused culture by partnering with other HR Leaders in the business to discuss, plan, and execute Engagement Activities. Champion initiatives that support the success of the organization’s growth and reinforce a collaborative, aligned, and engaged culture.

  • Implement and sustain effective communication practices, including but not limited to Town Halls, New Hire Orientations, Benefits Meetings, Company Newsletters, etc.

  • Plan worksite events, such as local Job Fair, Recognition Lunches, Coffee-side Chats, etc. 

  • Drives communications and actions relative to our OCTR, Performance Management Process, Compensation Planning, Engagement, Employee Relations, and otherwise as needed.

  • Maintain the integrity of data in the HRIS system by tracking and inputting employment changes such as new hires, transfers, job classifications, salary, terminations, etc.

  • Updates all excel spreadsheets trackers relative to processes, standard work, and lean management. Use metric and data to enable HR Leaders by identifying trends and recommend solutions to improve

  • Maintains confidentiality related to every aspect of the work conducted in the human resources department and Dematic.

  • Completes special projects as assigned.

  • Is flexible to changes in duties, priorities, methods and environments.


Qualifications


  • 8-10 years of direct applicable Human Resource Generalist experience in a manufacturing, operations, warehousing, or similar, fast-paced, environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred focus in business, human resources, sociology, psychology.

  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. 

  • Working knowledge or HR Law, Benefits, and payroll practices. 

  • Ability to quickly learn policies and practices with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

  • Demonstrated capabilities in non-professional and professional recruitment.

  • Demonstrated experience in driving engagement and reducing turnover. 

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse populations.

  • Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence.

  • Able to make quick, effective, and principles-based decisions.

  • Demonstrated customer focus, judgment, analytical skills, critical thinking and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal) required.

  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability and experience working effectively in a self-directed, proactive, results-oriented, complex, fast paced environment across all levels.

  • Some travel required, less than 10%.
