Dematic has an immediate need for a HR Systems Optimization Specialist as part of our Global HR organization. This position is responsible for overall Workday system optimization for Dematic, the person in this role will collaborate between Dematic Workday users and KION Group support team to define optimization initiatives and timelines.

Key responsibilties and tasks:

• Build out HR initiatives with project timelines to support OKRs


• Consult with Dematic Workday users to understand business needs and determine system enhancement requirements


• Liaise with parent company, KION, central support team to implement enhancements


• Plan and execute change management and training to support adoption of changes with regards to Workday initiatives


• Manage central repository for HR systems documentation, training, and support


• Subject matter expert for complex Workday support issues 


• Dematic’s Workday System Security expert, understand the security design and application to Dematic organization, work with users on security setup requests and conduct periodic audits of security role assignments  


• Understand and help support all types Workday connections to other systems


• Partner with HR Analytics, HRIS, and IT teams to improve downstream systems and data mining activity

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar business field


• 3+ years in consulting or project management with focus on HRIS


• Experience in Workday as a core HR platform for Global Organization


• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and influence without direct authority


• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance


• Ability to see the big picture and develop supporting solutions aligned to organizational business plans as well as tactical capabilities


• Excellent customer management and business literacy skills, able to accurately interpret business objectives and needs
