Job Description for Advertising Purposes

The Production Manager will be in charge of bringing the creative vision of production programming to life through technical planning and execution. This full-time position, based at PTC's headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, reports to the Director & Executive Producer of PTC Productions.

This role requires exceptional preparation and organizational skills, along with outstanding written and verbal communication expertise. The unique ability to multi-task on numerous productions at the same time, while calmly adapting to changes in scope is a must. Proven end- to-end production experience in film or TV, and ability to collaborate with multiple teams is required.

The Production Manager needs to work professionally and effectively with PTC executives, external guest speakers, vendors, co-workers, and others to ensure a successful production that meets PTC's goals and expectations.

Primary responsibilities include:

* Planning and overseeing all technical production requirements and crew while working within pre-approved production budgets
* Creating and managing detailed production schedules
* Identifying and acquiring necessary technical equipment for productions
* Identifying, hiring, and collaborating with 3rd-party production vendors
* Reviewing and advising the Executive Producer on all production vendor SOWs
* Coordinating the acquisition of all programming assets for broadcast
* Managing PTC Productions' broadcast platform
* Creating a production report system to clearly communicate pre-, onsite, and post-production status
