Job Summary
This role will have oversight of 2-3 COVID-19 testing sites on the university's campus where students, staff, and faculty will self-collect test samples. Reporting to the UChicago COVID Testing Program Executive Director, the Testing Site Supervisor will oversee day to day responsibilities for weekly testing of a cohort of faculty, students or staff. The Supervisor will have management responsibility for a team of Testing Liaisons assigned to their cohort throughout the testing process.

The Supervisor will have responsibility for onsite testing processes, including ensuring all participants are pre-registered, managing the flow of testing participants, ensuring timely courier pick up of specimens for transport to the lab, and reviewing testing completion to ensure all registered participants are tested each week.

This is a temporary position that is expected to last 6-9 months with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement. It will also be on-campus with no availability to work remotely.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily site operations, including ensuring opening/closing procedures are followed, inventory is adequate for daily operations, appropriate PPE guidelines are followed by Testing Liaisons, and other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
- Ensures safeguarding of protected health information (PHI) and follows HIPAA guidelines.
- Ensures that necessary participant tracking reports are escalated to the appropriate team members for follow up and resolution.
- This position is on-campus with no availability to work remotely.
- This is a temporary position that is expected to last 6-9 months with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement.
- Flexible weekly hours alternating between 3 and 4 days per week.
- Works somewhat independently to develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Assembles and leads a project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Is responsible for tracking progress, conducting analysis, as well as preparing for and facilitating project meetings.
- Acts as a resource for a project team and provides analytical guidance. Interprets complex project issues and provides analytical guidance to a project team.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Education:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration or equivalent.

Experience:
- Four to six years of experience.
- Working knowledge with human sample collections.
- Proficient in daily management /oversight of diagnostics or lab testing sites.
- Clinical or public health background.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing different sites in a healthcare environment.
- Work in an ambulatory care setting.
- Work in a behavioral health setting.
- Higher education experience.

- Managerial/supervisory experience in healthcare, public health or management setting.
- Experience working in an ambulatory care/ behavioral health setting.
- Higher education experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
