An established acute care medical center located just outside of the Greater Boston region is currently searching for an experienced Lead Phlebotomist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This acute care medical center is home to nearly 150-beds and provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical facility is equipped to offer a variety of services including emergency and urgent care, primary care, perioperative services, oncology, pediatrics, and women’s health services. The Lead Phlebotomist will oversee a team of certified phlebotomists who are fully trained to perform a variety of collection techniques including pediatrics and specialty draws. The laboratory service line performs a wide range of testing in blood chemistry, toxicology, urinalysis, hematology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, transfusion medicine, cytology, and anatomic pathology. Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Lead Phlebotomist will be responsible for scheduling all laboratory personnel and asignments. 

The Lead Phlebotomist will oversee all phlebotomy activities throughout the main hospital campus, sub-acute long-term healthcare facilities, adult day care centers, and private homes within the health system. The Lead Phlebotomist will be responsible for all scheduling activities for all clinical locations. The Lead Phlebotomist must have an Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution or an accredited laboratory program.
