Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently seeking an accomplished individual to assume the role of International Controller for our business segment headquarters located in Memphis, TN. The Controller is expected to provide insight and guidance into the fiscal function of Meyer Utility Structure businesses and operations. As a key member of the management team, the Controller will manage the financial affairs to include accounting, financial reporting and controls for the assigned domestic and Mexico business operations.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee the accounting close and financial reporting processes; continuously improve processes for scalability
• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of the financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all business processes are in accordance with Arcosa internal controls.
• Responsible for the coordination & oversight of Mexico closing activities to include Castanos, Huehuetoca & Monterrey Poles.
• Finance liaison for the Huehuetoca, Castanos & Monterrey Pole plant reviews & analysis of financial performance
• Preparation and communication of weekly financial forecast including explanations of significant changes
• Analyze data pertaining to plant metrics to include plant production efficiencies, productivity and other cost controls to drive continuous improvements
• Develop financial models for trending and review of cost opportunities
• Assist in the implementation of lean processes/streamlining of accounting and reporting processes to maximize the contribution to the BU & in line with Corporate strategic and tactical business goals
• Oversee the SOX compliance for the Mexico locations; work to strengthen internal controls and ensure the control environment is operating effectively and efficiently
• Continue to evolve and develop an accounting team that is a partner to the business with an infrastructure that will support Meyer Utility Structure’s strategic direction
• Build relationships cross-functionally to foster collaboration both inside and outside of the Finance & Accounting teams
• Lead ad hoc projects as needed

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor degree in accounting required
• MBA/CPA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years related experience of diverse manufacturing account experience as a controller or senior accounting leader
• Proficiency with US GAAP required
• Strong and verifiable technical accounting skills
• Experience implementing/maintaining accounting systems and developing reporting and analytics capabilities
• Ability to audit and manage a complex financials and make difficult managerial decisions
• Exceptional ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach and develop a high performing team of professionals
• Experience working with Oracle/ERP business systems
• Strong communication skills (written/ verbal and interpersonal)
• Bi-lingual - Spanish
• Ability to present reports accurately and concisely to the executive management team, board of directors and all other key stakeholders
• Ability to Travel
