Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
Production Line support lead as assigned, with managing day to day tasks in keeping line operational, and troubleshooting issues both part and process related
Managing non-conformance reports (NCR's), as well as investigations related to field returns product line specific under defined timelines
Tasked with investigator or team members assignment in the Corrective and Preventative Action Process (CAPA) based on product type, cell and defect mode
Lead and participate in planning and execution of production line validations
Lead and participate in Change Development Process (CDP) in preparing project plans as it relates to part and/or process qualifications
Employee to be cross functional in providing support for daily tasked items, as well as other areas in the form of line and project support as a team approach in meeting business objectives
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience, or advanced degree with 0+ years of experience
Nice to Have
Proficiency with SolidWorks (or equivalent solid modeling package)
Ability to perform word processing and create spreadsheets. Proficient with computers (e.g. Word, Excel, Minitab, etc.)
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work well with others
Ability to communicate well through written and verbal means
Prior internship or co-op experience a plus
High level of proficiency in engineering and scientific principles
Self-starter and driver - able to execute effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a dynamic environment
