Department's Website:https://poultry-science.uark.edu/Summary of Job Duties:The appointed individual will be responsible for managing the on-farm research program concerned with the study of correlated responses to selection for traits of economic importance. The principle responsibilities of the individual involve maintenance and care of research populations and facilities at the poultry research farm. This responsibility includes the management and scheduling of hourly workers, feed ordering, coordination of hatchery, processing and barn space necessary for student research projects and ensuring the efficient running of the \\"on farm\\" quantitative genetics laboratory and maintenance of the selected chicken and quail research populations at the poultry research farm. Additional responsibilities include submission of necessary work orders and protocols for barn use.

A high school diploma plus two years of agricultural experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of poultry experience
