The Opportunity:

Open Text Inc. is looking for a US Public Sector Contracts Administrator with knowledge of Federal and State Government contracts, with a proven track record of supporting various contract administration activities
You will assist and provide contracting support to the US Public Sector Contracts Manager and Account Executives in the development, and administration of IT software and services contracts with our Federal and State Government agencies. Your performance will require contract administration duties, such as completing representations, certifications, and contract reports and modifications
Ideal candidate would possess a general understanding of FAR/DFARS, GSA and other Federal GWAC and State Schedules

What You Are Great At:

- Effectively communicate, verbally and written, with both internal and external customers

- Detail oriented

- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines

- Prepare and maintain contract status reports

- Organize and upload contract documents to govt contract sites, company website and Company shared drives and verify contract documents are complete with all modifications

- Assist Contracts Manager with compliance and reporting for Government contracts and subcontracts

- Assist Contracts Manager with drafting contract amendments, extensions, and change orders in compliance with Government contract regulations and policies

- Maintaining modification tracking sheet and Master Contracts Tracker

What It Takes:

- A B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent experience

- Minimum 3 years' experience providing Public Sector contract administration

- Focus on accountability & meeting critical time schedules

- Knowledge of GSA Multiple Award Schedules and other Federal and State Supply Schedules

- Knowledge and experience with the System for Awards Management (SAM) helpful, but not required

- Excellent organizational skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

- Requires working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point software applications

- Knowledge and experience with GSA Schedules and GWACs

- Experience supporting a variety of federal customers

- Experience supporting multiple programs/internal customers simultaneously in a dynamic environment

- Knowledge of and experience working with government contract terms and conditions

- Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Department of Defense supplement (DFARS)
