The company began more than 100 years ago in Tulsa and has successfully diversified into a variety of industries, businesses and geographies. .The Investment Manager III is primarily responsible for asset management of key clients and sophisticated investment accounts; reviews assets, recommends changes and sets investment objectives. This position will involve considerable client and prospect contact. The position will be responsible for special projects or duties as assigned by the Mgr, Trust Investments. These duties could include: responsibility for monthly research and support, compliance, market reviews, or representing the department on committees and working groups. The position will also be responsible for supervision of other staff members.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manages bond and equity portfolios for the most sophisticated clients to maximize investment returns commensurate with an acceptable level of risk; analyzes securities, portfolios, and asset allocation to ensure adherence to investment objectives and maximize investment returns within client and investment management group guidelines.
- Presents to prospects and consultants the capabilities of the Investment Management Group; works with sales people from other areas of the Trust Company to present asset management group abilities.
- Communicates with new and existing clients and administrators about their account, securities markets, and economic trends, which include the reporting of investment activity and performance.
- Serves as investment management representative on various committees and special project groups.
- Supervises certain investment management staff.
- Attends and contributes to investment policy committees and regulation 9 investment review meetings.
- Assists in setting investment strategy for the investment management group; assists in review and creation of investment policy and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Advanced knowledge of various securities and investment related products and services i.e. stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and international investing
- Outstanding oral, written and communication skills, including interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of investment related statistical reporting and performance measurement
- Leadership skills, including group and individual project experience
- Human resource/ supervision experience
- Excellent PC skills including Windows operating system and ExcelThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business and 6-8 years experience in portfolio management, a Masters Degree or CFA designation or 12-14 years equivalent work experience.
