A company in Port Washington , WI is looking for a Quality Inspector for a 3rd shift opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Read and follow the production order
Visually inspect to ensure that the production line is using the correct raw materials for the specific run
Complete logs, audits, and other documentation in real-time using 'paper and pen'
Use math skills, rulers, and other devices to ensure the components are the correct size and weight
Identify issues, defects, or out of spec problems with in process and finished goods in real-time
Communicate deficiencies and defects of personnel and the product to the correct supervisor or machine operator. This position requires good communication and observation skills
