Reporting to the Pharmacy Director, the Outpatient Clinic Pharmacy Specialist will work collaboratively in clinical, staff, and ambulatory roles, putting their excellent communication skills to use while interacting with healthcare providers and patients alike. 

The Outpatient Clinic Pharmacy Specialist will be responsible for daily multidisciplinary rounds, staffing of an anticoagulation clinic, processing, compounding, and dispensing inpatient orders/drug informational services to medical staff, while supervising technicians and other staff members, and supporting the interdisciplinary team as a whole. They will educate patients and families on medication therapy management services and transition of care. The Outpatient Clinic Pharmacy Specialist will play a pivotal role in both the Pharmacy and Clinical setting.
