A long-standing critical access hospital located in Northern New Hampshire is currently searching for an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join their clinically advanced healthcare team.


This established critical access hospital is home to 25-beds and is affiliated with a regional health system that is comprised of multiple hospital and primary care locations. This critical access hospital offers a wide variety of acute and primary services including medical and surgical care, intensive care, cardiac and pulmonary care, rehabilitative services, oncology, emergency care, laboratory services, radiology and imaging, as well as family medicine. This critical access hospital strives to provide high-quality affordable healthcare throughout the Northern region of New Hampshire.


The Respiratory Therapist will join a respiratory care service line that provides care to both adult and pediatric populations. The Respiratory Therapist will assist to provide a number of services including airway and ventilator management, aerosol medication administration and education, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, electrocardiograms, cardiopulmonary disease and rehabilitation. The Respiratory Therapist will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.


The Respiratory Therapist will act as a professional who can demonstrate clinical knowledge to provide respiratory care adequate for both pediatric and adult populations. The Respiratory Therapist will act as a clinical leader within the Respiratory Services department and will be able to explain the purpose and procedure of treatments to patients and families alike. The Respiratory Therapist will conduct physical examinations of the patient and will then prescribe treatment or therapies utilizing IPPB equipment, various oxygen devise, ultrasonic nebulizers, aerosol and humidity therapy, incentive spirometry, among many other treatments.
