With a 475+ bed, non-profit hospital, the Nursing Director of Surgical Services will join a team that oversees over 21,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries a year with 24 operating rooms. Some of the Surgical areas include: 

• Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) 


• Neurosurgery


• Pediatric Specialities

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the Nursing Director of Perioperative Surgical Services will oversee overall operations of PreOperative, PostOperative PACU, Operating Rooms, Ambulatory Surgery center, and the Cardiac Cath Lab with 10 direct reports and over 250 full time employees. Working in collaboration with the Chair of Surgery and Chair of Anesthesia, the Perioperative Surgical Service RN Director will ensure top notch quality patient care in the community.  Additionally, the RN Nursing Director of Surgical Services will develop and execute departmental goals, cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, continuously improve quality performance improvement initiatives, and ensure policy procedure compliance.
