This outpatient facility serves as a Surgery Center as well as a Rehabilitation Service with Physical Therapy. The specialized procedures within the facility vary from Plastic Surgery, to Ear, Nose and Throat giving patients a variety of surgical needs. The Assistant Director Surgery will continue to serve the community with high quality patient care being supported by a top hospital in the region. 

The Assistant Director Surgery reports directly to the Director Surgical Services with 30+ FTE’s reporting up to them. They will hold responsibility for all Surgical Operations while overseeing each and every surgery that takes place. The Assistant Director will also take the place of the Director of Surgical Services when they are not available. They will work closely with the Administrator to lead success within the Surgery Center.

The job responsibilities of the Assistant Director Surgery will be consistent in leading the Surgical Team of 5 OR. They will specialize in Eye, Ortho, and Gynecology procedures primarily within this ASC. The Assistant Director will assist the Director of Surgery with staffing needs, and training of new Periop RN’s to ensure outpatient needs. One will need to have strong leadership skills as you will be responsible for directing the RN staff.
