Job Description
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The National Account Executive sells integrated marketing programs for the American Patchwork and Quilting (APQ) profit center. Those programs and packages include all media vehicles which can include: online, print, podcast, video, events, database etc. The job also requires extensive relationship and communication skills for the entire APQ advertising customer base. This person will also manage the sales and marketing team for APQ and provide strategic guidance and leadership for the business.

Sells integrated marketing programs across the (APQ) profit center, including: print, online, podcasts, database, events, video etc. Minimum expectation is for account executive to achieve sales quota target goal each year.

Establishes relationships with all key customers throughout assigned territory.

Provide leadership and management of the sales and marketing team and for the overall profit center

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Agriculture or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum of five years successful sales and customer experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and scheduling skills.
Solid grasp of marketing concepts.
Strong sales skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Good computer skills including expertise with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Adaptable and effective negotiating skills.
Understanding of agricultural and/or advertising industry preferred.
% Travel Required (Approximate): 50%
