Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Exemplifies Northwestern Memorial Healthcare's (NMHC)Service Excellence principles with internal and external customers.
- Provides high level knowledge of full cycle recruitment for all levels and typesof positions.
- Serves as a trusted advisor and consultative subject matter expert.
- Utilizes strong candidate assessment skills to conduct behavioral based interviews.
- Develops strategies to generate top tier candidates to create a robust candidate pipeline both internally and externally for current, as well as, future employment opportunities.
- Creates and maintains a flow of candidates by utilizingthe following for management level positions:
- Advanced internet searching skills.
- Industry research.
- Resume mining.
- Referrals.
- Cold calling.
- Search firm.
- Other highly advanced recruitment techniques for current and future positions.
- Serves as a trusted advisor and consultative subject matter expert with hiring managers in the following ways:
- Executes Service Level Agreement (SLA) and orients new managers to the recruitment process workflow at NMHC.
- Attends leadership meetings to gain knowledge of the department's mission, business strategies, and operational challenges, to effectively assist in recruitment and retention efforts.
- Offers feedback on the strengths, potential developmental needs and career objectives for candidates.
- Assists hiring managers in interpreting Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Proactively recruits across client groups during high volume peak times.
- Develops, coordinates and monitors effectiveness of recruitment events and programs.
- Supports the Affirmative Action initiatives by assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to recruit qualified, diverse candidates.
- Conducts career discussions and prescreens/interviews internal employees.
- Maintains abreast Human Resources trends via attendance at conferences/workshops, professional affiliations, webinars and literature review.
- Proactively recruits across client groups during high volume peak times.
- Develops, coordinates and monitors effectiveness of all recruitment events and programs.
- Works effectively in a team environment and independently.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of current full cycle recruitment or multiple agency/organization recruitment experience in a high growth, fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, social networking tools and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Desired:
- Previous healthcare recruitment experience.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft.
- PHR, AIRS Certification.
