Your Role

We are looking for a versatile Videographer and Photographer well-versed in all areas of video development and production as well as photography. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic, creative storyteller that can take the design concept and the space and turn it into dynamic video and stunning photography. They are proficient with all stages of video production, with experience using lighting and production sound equipment and as well as a working knowledge of motion graphics. In addition to video, the ideal candidate has experience and expertise shooting and editing static photography of spaces--interior and exterior. As the In-House Videographer and Photographer, this digital content creator will be responsible for the creation and collection of all content related to projects needed for marketing and communications for internal and external use.

What You Will Do
- Storyboard, film, edit, and deliver video content for marketing, communications, PR and internal-use; Creating (edit/cut) compelling videos for on-going and completed projects that tell the design and client story
- Shoot dynamic video content and B-roll on projects throughout construction and upon completion; Set up on-location video productions emphasizing proper lighting and sound design, occasionally by yourself
- Shoot and edit professional-level photography of projects as needed
- Shoot scouting photos as needed
- Shoot drone photo and video where allowed (if hired, would require licensure through the FAA)
- Capture both video and sound, and edit accordingly for its given platform
- Work with our in-house 4K production (including cameras and drone) and sound equipment, backdrops, and lighting
- Work with leadership to set and maintain a production calendar to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Regularly research the latest ideas and techniques in video production, editing to maintain innovation and growth
- Provide video production support for a range of multimedia requests by shooting and editing digital video, including animation and motion graphics
- Communicate across a diverse set of teams to identify project requirements, production plans and schedules
- Work collaboratively with other talented (and very fun!) designers, leadership and design teams
- Maintain a high attention to detail with a sensitivity to corporate messaging and brand guidelines
- Bring creativity, problem solving and great communication and organization skills to every project
- Handle several projects at once and work in fast-paced environment

Your Qualifications
- Degree in photography/videography/video editing/production or relevant/equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years video production and photography experience
- Robust ability to capture video and static (photography) content and see it through all stages of production and delivery
- Operates DSLR cameras with interchangeable lenses for video and static capture
- Operates a drone for static captures and video
- Expertise in editing footage for various mediums using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition
- Master of all aspects of video Post-Production including editing, color grading, sound design as well as delivery across all multimedia platforms.
- Proficiency animating motion graphics using Adobe After Effects preferred
- Understands various audio-video formats and best practices for media conversion
- Possesses excellent communication skills, online and in-person
- Excellent visual design fundamentals including motion graphics, composition, hierarchy, color theory, typography
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize, set timelines/deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills written and verbal
- Great organizational and multitasking skills
- Willing to travel (post-pandemic)
- Portfolio or design reel required
