Position:

We are looking for a software engineer to come in and work on our existing product suites as well as custom solutions for our clients. The engineer will join an existing development team in implementing new features into OCC's products and improving/refactoring legacy code to modern standards. A portion of the work will be quality assurance for our software solutions by developing and refining test plans using automated testing. The majority of OCC software has been developed within the latest .NET technologies.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participation in full life cycle software development tasks utilizing primarily (but not limited to) the latest .NET technologies.


• You will assist in requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, integration, installation and maintenance.


• Design, creation, and execution of test plans for OCC products and services.


• Maintain and Expand upon existing automated tests


• Perform testing on new products as well as regression testing on existing products.


• Collaborate with software engineers and business stakeholders to ensure product functions are working as required.


• Document software bug trends and advise business stakeholders on enhancements


• Participate in an Agile Scrum framework.

• 0 - 3 years working experience.


• Understanding of object oriented concepts and programming.


• Knowledge of Object Oriented Languages preferably VB.NET or C#.


• Openness, willingness and flexibility to learn new skills, programming languages and tools.

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science


• -Familiarity with unit testing

• Knowledge of the .NET framework.


• Knowledge of relational databases, ability to write SQL queries.


• Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)


• Knowledge of web development frameworks and tools.


• Prior experience with any Microsoft products, tools or technologies such as: SQL Server, Visual Studio, Team -Foundation Server, WCF or ASP.NET.


• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
