Ashley Furniture HomeStore, the #1 Mattress and Furniture retailer in North America, has an immediate opening for an Supply Chain Planner.  The ideal candidate is responsible for inbound flow to assigned Distribution Centers and Cross Dock facilities.  Includes all aspects of product forecasting, safety stock levels, purchase order management and inventory management.

 KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for maintaining inventory flow and preventing broken promises to customers through inventory planning and execution


• Collaborates with Merchant Teams to identify stocking assortment and levels


• Assists Inventory Planner with Container Pricing


• Assists Inventory Planner with Hub and Spoke product plans and executes the plans


• Collaborates with Regional Merchants for Despised Planning and execution


• Collaborates with DC's to ensure proper inventory flow, on time receiving, and accuracy


• Other duties as assigned

 KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Bachelor's Degree required


• 1-5 years experience product and inventory planning


• Expert in MS Office Suite


• Work well with a team


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Outstanding grammar, writing, editing, and communication skills
