Millennium is seeking a Systems Engineer Test and Evaluation to join our team. This position will provide technical, project, and managerial leadership of a systems engineering team defining the next generation of space domain awareness systems supporting the Department of Defense. This position supports systems engineering and acquisition activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.


The SMC Technical Services Special Programs effort provides leading edge systems engineering & technical assistance for the Air Force's Space and Missiles System Center (SMC). We support the Air Force's acquisition of state of the art Space Domain Awareness Space Sensors, Enterprise Systems Engineering, Enterprise Command and Control, and Operations and Sustainment
Required Skills:

BS in an engineering discipline
Experience of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis and flowdown, system integration, and requirements validation and verification
At least 5 years of Space systems development experience or DoD system development experience
Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
Familiarity with systems engineering concepts and tools
Familiarity with defense acquisition processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

MS in an engineering discipline
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
Familiarity with DOORS, Sparx EA, or other systems engineering tools
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework cybersecurity
Required Experience:

5+ years' demonstrated experience with space or aeronautical systems engineering & integration programs and projects
5+ years' working in a collaborative team environment developing test strategies/plans/reports, participation in test execution, and verification or analysis
Experience with DoD Systems development
Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
Active TS/SCI clearance is required in order to be considered for this position
Preferred Experience:

Experience with Space Domain Awareness programs
Experience with DoD Space Systems development
Experience in Middle Tier Acquisition Programs
Experience in cybersecurity test and evaluation

Education Required

Bachelors or better.
