Position Summary

The Master Scheduler drives results in a fast-paced environment and is accountable for the generation, maintenance, analysis and verification of the site's manufacturing asset production schedule. The Master Scheduler ensures alignment with all Quality cGMP compliance, process requirements, readiness, timeline and revenue commitments, including asset availability to ensure schedule adherence and maximize efficiency and asset utilization. This includes responsibility for designing, maintaining and reporting key performance (KPI's) metrics for scheduling, execution and capacity. This role requires working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and fostering the exchange of information with other site and global functions to manage KPIs, report outputs and resolve open issues in a timely manner. The position requires superior leadership behaviors of the Alcami core competencies and non-negotiables, as well as expertise in functional competencies included in this position profile.

Essential Functions

- Follows applicable SOPs and cGMPs to perform assigned duties and tasks.

- Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.

- Generates, manages and analyzes the master manufacturing schedule for the site in alignment with all cross-functional and workflow inputs.

- Ensures efficient management of all communication processes to disseminate and share critical information.

- Combines and analyzes schedules across all API facilities to identify opportunities for cross-facility utilization.

- Provides feedback for financial forecast based upon capacity and current schedule.

- Creates, maintains, and reports performance metrics relating to scheduling adherence, capacity, and outputs.

- Provides capacity feedback in support of new business opportunities.

- Assists in asset capacity evaluation, planning and feedback across other functional groups.

- Facilitates Production Staging Meeting, prioritization and follow up of action item list.

- Facilitates Finite Scheduling Meeting. Creates and updates visual displays and boards.

- Implements and improves business processes and workflows as they relate to Enterprise Resource Planning.

- Maintains relationships among different departments leading effective knowledge sharing efforts to work transparently and drive a first-time right culture.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience required.

- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred, sterile manufacturing experience a plus.

- APICS certification preferred.

Functional Competencies

- Excellent verbal communication, written communication, documentation, negotiation, critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, detail orientation, organization and time management skills required.

- Knowledge of cGMP, inventory management, and manufacturing preferred.

- Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

- Experience with scheduling software and ERP systems preferred.

Travel Requirements

- Up to 5% domestic travel.
