Perform duties as assigned with the health care program and as directed by the Head Athletic Trainer. Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment. Minimum Experience
At least two years of related experience. Minimum Other Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Education
Master's degree. Preferred Experience
At least three years of related experience. Preferred Other Pre-Employment Screening Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification. Position Title(s) Supervised

Duties & Responsibilities
Ranking 1 Job Duty
Make recommendations for the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the health care program for Intercollegiate Athletics. Ranking 2 Job Duty
Serve as the athletic trainer and have direct supervision for one or more sports, as necessary on a daily basis, as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. Ranking 3 Job Duty
Evaluate injuries and make physician referral decisions for assigned sports. Ranking 4 Job Duty
Design and implement, in coordination with the team physician, all rehabilitation and therapeutic programs for assigned sports. Ranking 5 Job Duty
Work in conjunction with other members of the training staff, to supervise the athletic training students in the athletic training major. Ranking 6 Job Duty
Direct all communication between the athlete, training room staff, team physicians, and coaching staff for the assigned sports. Ranking 7 Job Duty
Coordinate with the Strength and Conditioning Coach regarding programs for injured and rehabilitating athletes. Ranking 8 Job Duty
Some teaching may be included as assigned by the Chair of the School of Physical Education, Sport, and Exercise Science. Ranking 9 Job Duty
