This position is responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of Analytics and BI solutions. This person will work with business partners on understanding and gathering requirements, designing robust & value-added solutions, managing the project deliverables, and ensuring that Analytics & BI solutions are effectively managed and adopted through user training. Candidates for this position should have a solid understanding of Analytics & BI development processes end to end.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execution of Analytics & BI projects / processes

• Requirements gathering, Design, development , integration testing, implementation and support of analytics and BI projects

• Help in support/administration of self-service analytical platform

• Oversee all aspects of project life cycle within the solution area

• Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources

• Analyze and offer recommendations to improve the use and execution of analytics and BI systems/applications.

• Build and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business development documents

• Analyze and evaluate current processes and systems, benchmark best practices and recommend improvements

• Work with solution architects group to ensure functional and system design specifications meet established architectural standards and identify system weaknesses and recommend solutions

• Coordinate with IS Business Solution Global Process Managers, Leads and Analysts to work toward a common solution

• Ensure strong working relationship with key business users and management

• Understand the emerging technology and upgrade features for each process and determine which should be prioritized and implemented

• Document application functionality

• Perform feasibility and functional studies and create proposals and design/specification documents

• Manage testing processes to ensure requirements properly align with delivered solutions.

Required:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or a field related to the Analytics & Business Intelligence area is required.

•3-5 years of design/development and implementation work experience in Analytics and reporting using tools such as Qlik Sense (preferred), Power BI, Tableau and/or SSRS

•3-5 years of experience with writing SQL queries

•2-3 years ETL design, development & support experience in one or more BI software tool set such as MS BI (SSIS) and/or Informatica

•2-5 years of project management experience utilizing standard project planning / management tools, and extensive knowledge in project management and control.

•Good analytical skills

•Good written and oral communication skills to convey ideas and problem solutions

•Preferred:

•Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration.

•2+ years of experience with data warehouse/data modeling concepts

•Experience in Modern BI, cloud data platform, digital transformation, big data technologies

•Experience in any programming language like VB, VB script, java, java script
