eCornell Vertical Lead - Human Resources - Remote at Cornell University

Job Description:

eCornell delivers online professional certificate programs to individuals and organizations around the world. Certificates are designed and developed as a collaborative effort between Cornell University faculty and eCornell's professional instructional design and development teams.

eCornell offers more than 100 Certificates in a wide range of topics, including leadership and management, data science, engineering, marketing, technology, human resources, healthcare, hospitality and more. New programs are being launched constantly. Short courses (most are 2-weeks) with small cohorts are designed to be interactive, and to help learners gain skills they can immediately apply in their organizations.

The Vertical Lead, Human Resources (HR) will have an instrumental role in the growth and maturation of eCornell's online learning experience. This person will serve a multifaceted function involving leadership and support for the growth and professionalization of eCornell's corps of online course facilitators, as well as interfacing with design, development, and operations teams to support the continuous improvement of eCornell's online learning products and experiences specific to the HR and adjacent fields.

The person filling this position must be credible in the subject matter, but also an effective leader with a natural predisposition for driving the effectiveness of others. The right candidates will have a broad understanding of the HR landscape, which will enable them to aid in the development, support, and maintenance of online learning programs. This person will be expected to facilitate credit-bearing courses in the Executive Masters in Human Resources Management (EMHRM), subject to continued departmental approval.

What we need:
- Master's degree in HR and a PHR certification, with 10+ years of experience working in the field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Existing credibility from 5+ year's experience working with eCornell, Cornell University's EMHRM online program, or equivalent academically-affiliated online program.

- Possesses immediate credibility with peers in the field.
- Experience in instruction, coaching, or other relevant educational activities.

- Appropriate additional industry certifications in alignment with degree and field of expertise.
- 15+ years of applied experience in the field of Human Resources.
