Position Overview

The IT Audit Manager will prepare IT audits to evaluate high risk areas of the Hubbell information technology environment to ensure that an adequate control environment has been implemented. The incumbent will be executing high quality audits under the direction of Senior Manager, IT Audit and Director of Internal Audit, including planning, risk management & control services over the IT infrastructure, applications and processes. The Manager will work with IT, financial and operational management personnel across the company including leadership and will be exposed to Information Technology and other functional operations.
Key objectives

- Identify and clearly define, audit issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented;

- Promote a zero-tolerance control environment where fraud and/or noncompliance is unacceptable and difficult to conceal; and

- Ensure adequate coordination with Senior Manager, IT Audit and business process owners to understand the worldwide segment businesses and execute audits thereafter.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Develops scope, objective, and procedures of IT audits while ensuring alignment with audit standards, guidelines, and best standard practices;

- Perform risk-based audits of information technology at Hubbell, including applications, databases, operating systems, physical security, telecommunications, disaster recovery, vendor management and cloud computing;

- Evaluate the high risk areas to resolve adequacy of controls and, where appropriate compare to industry standard methodologies and control frameworks such as (COSO), (COBIT), (NIST), and (FIPS)

- Assess compliance with Hubbell policies, standards, and procedures

- Collaborate with many levels of the organization, including Senior Management.

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in a technology, audit or financial related field; along with 5 plus years working in IT Audit and IT with a diverse technical background in a complex technical infrastructure environment

- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) must have one or other credentials

- Excellent project management skills with the focus on timely completion of tasks and the ability to identify and assess a changing array of risks

- Knowledge of best operating practices for SAP, JDE, HANA, and Linux

- Knowledge of auditing third parties, specifically in reconcile vendor controls' reliance strategies and analysis of SOC reports, as well as auditing IT dependencies such as key reports and automated controls is helpful

- Familiarity with control frameworks such as COBIT is a necessity, along with the ability to use the framework to assess a control environment and as a basis for control improvement recommendations

- Strong, proficient analytical skills
