Under general supervision, the E-Commerce Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for ongoing vendor management support and reporting responsibilities for all Cross Border Logistics facilities in the West Coast region. Support duties will include operational systems maintenance and troubleshooting along with generating operations reports including volume, flow rates, service levels. The E-Commerce Operations Support Specialist will report to US Operations. The role will require a regular presence at facilities in support of vendor management in the West Coast US to ensure best practices are being implemented and maintained for processing and dispatching of eCommerce / eCommerce Lite products, as well as fulfilment and other processes where applicable. This role will require maintaining regular communications with the US Operations Team, reporting processing procedures, standard operating procedure compliance and monitoring key performance indicators. This role will work with the US Operations Team to implement changes if and when required to create a fluid process flow from first mile pickup to on-time delivery. Close communication, monitoring, analysis and discretion are key elements of this position.

Strong vendor management skills such as:
Monitoring vendor's compliance to service level agreements (SLA)
Setting and tracking key performance indicator performance adherence by vendor
Ensuring relevant stock levels and record keeping is kept and reported
Maintaining vendor compliance to FedEx Security standards for facilities
Providing operational subject matter expertise on existing and new services where necessary
Liaising with other vendors (where applicable) to ensure correct documentation is being produced / presented
Strong understanding of operational processes including:
Understanding inbound eCommerce volume processes to ensure arrival of volume will support deadlines agreed with customers / vendors
Liaising with vendor Leads to ensure standard operating procedures are being implemented and maintained
Maintaining all operational records provided by vendor
Operational reporting skills including providing:
Standardized reports to Manager, US Operations and US Operations team
Regular Ops Team reports to highlight areas of activity / opportunity / concern
Innovative mindset and ability to recognize operational improvement opportunities such as:
Identifying areas for operational improvement/ growth within facilities associated with processes / facility layout / cost management
Championing opportunities as appropriate for expansion to other FCBL facilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent. Must have at least two (2) years experience in vendor management, project management or operations. Must possess strong project management skills and experience. Must have experience using MS Excel and database platforms to pull and analyze data in support of key initiatives. Experience and comfort in developing executive level (MS PowerPoint) presentations along with strong communication skills to multiple audiencesacross all levels of the company. Must possess creative critical thinking and problem solving skills. Must be able to handle multiple applications/projects simultaneously. Demonstrated analytical skills and experience applying measurement to decision-making. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships with cross-functional stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in managing a vendor in a service field; transportation & logistics preferred. Must have strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication. Must possess strong customer service, multi-tasking, analytical, and prioritization skills.
