Job Description:

The Firmwide Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the strategy and execution of key marketing and communications campaigns at the Firm level and will report into the head of Corporate Brand & PR. Working in close collaboration with BBH business line leaders, spokespeople, marketing teams, external agencies, and internal communications teams, this person is the steward of the firm's brand in several critical areas:
The Firmwide Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and development of firmwide key marketing collateral including BBH's Annual Report and Annual Stewardship Report firm overviews, brochures, pamphlets, visual templates, custom requests, and messaging on our web properties. This individual should be adept at storytelling and be able to bring a stakeholder's concept to life as a dynamic digital visual. In addition, the Firmwide Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for delivering key executive communications.
Working with our head of Corporate Brand & PR and external agency partner, the Firmwide Marketing and Communications Manager will also have primary responsibility over our corporate PR initiatives on a day-to-day basis. Additionally, this position provides strategic oversight and execution of LOB PR efforts by identifying story angles, drafting press materials, and prepping BBH subject matter experts (SMEs) for media interviews.
This person must thrive under deadline pressure, like to hustle, be able to meet established timelines, and be sensitive to global cultural differences. This person should be comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to work effectively across management levels, including with senior executives and key stakeholders, and be able to establish relationships with PR agency representatives and other external parties.
Areas of Responsibility
1.Collateral Development
Provide strategic oversig and management of the process of developing and maintaining firmwide marketing collateral including the PPT template, overviews, brochures, pamphlets, and custom requests in coordination with lines of business and Creative Services.
Ensure all firmwide collateral aligns with brand standards set by the redesigned public site.
Proactively manage BBH branding and messaging with LOB and product marketing groups to ensure all materials present the BBH brand consistently and follow corporate standards.
Work with Creative Services to manage the process of refreshing firmwide PowerPoint templates, style guides and forms.
Create compelling messaging at the firm/brand level for our digital properties
2.Special Projects Management
Work closely with Head of Corporate Brand & PR and internal communications to develop the strategy for executive communications and live presentation of business results to employees, including via an annual \\"Around the World\\" tour video.
Oversee the Annual Report process. This includes planning, writing, design, review, production and distribution.
Facilitate the Annual Stewardship Report process. This includes planning, writing, design, review, production and distribution
Supervise one-off Partner video project requests.
3.Public Relations
Serve as firm liaison for PR agency relationship as well as manage the corresponding budget
Coordinate day-to-day requests from PR agency within Investor Services including recommending appropriate LOB spokesperson
Leverage PR framework to assist global spokespeople in preparing for corporate media and public engagements/communications
Develop and implement process to evaluate PR program through data
4.Collaboration and leadership across marketing teams
Oversee cross-functional teams including Systems, Compliance and cross-LOB marketing Managers to ensure they are aligned and accomplishing marketing strategy.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
Ability to represent the Marketing & Communications department in senior level meetings.
5.Strategic Thinking
Ability Work closely with LOB marketing leads to develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy to help the BBH achieve its objectives.
Help grow and evolve the Sustainable BBH program

Education level and/or relevant experience
5-8 years of relevant experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
MBA or other advanced degree, preferred

Knowledge and skills
Excellent strategic, analytical, conceptual thinking skills (big picture thinker)
Proven experience in project management, developing, and implementing strategic marketing plans
Strong knowledge of marketing strategies for the investment business
Public relations experience (either in-house or agency)
Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills
Entrepreneurial and flexible with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and quickly changing environment.
Ability to represent the Marketing & Communications department in senior level meetings.
Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions in a timely manner
Knowledge of risk management controls and compliance policies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills, with ability to interact with senior management, business and community leaders
Experience with Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
