We are currently recruiting for a Systems Administrator to be based in our Corporate office, which is located in Columbia, MD. As a Systems Administrator for Structural Group, you will be accountable for managing the daily operations of systems and servers.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Serving as level 3 escalation point for the Customer Support team


• On-call rotation – 1 week per month


• Monitoring server, application, and backup logs


• Installing new servers, networks, printers, and applications


• Resolving issues related to server and application outages


• Monitoring and maintaining Anti-Virus Environment


• Develop and maintain documentation


• Maintaining file system security
  Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience


• 5+ years in a Systems Administrator role


• Experience with server and network virtualization


• Certifications in Microsoft Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, VmWare preferred


• Experience with Windows 2008 or newer operating systems in physical and virtual environments


• Well versed in Microsoft Active Directory Working experience using Group Policy to deliver software and desktop settings.


• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, DFS, CIFS, Print Services, SNMP and WEBM protocol and services.


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills


• Travel expectation 20%
