We are seeking a Senior
Construction Manager to join
American Tower’s Site Development team.  The
Site Development team is responsible for the delivery of construction services
programs, developing new assets and management of capital improvement and
structural redevelopment projects across our tower portfolio.  Day to day you will administer
field-based construction activities on assigned project with a defined
geographic region.  As a Senior
Construction Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to follow operating
policies and standards to ensure assets are constructed and preserved through
sound and consistent procedures.

What
You Can Offer Us

• Work cross-departmentally on
  construction projects; extract contract language, develop scope, manage
  budgets, schedules, vendors, site designs, material ordering, progress
  monitoring, site utility coordination and closeouts.


• 
  Execute
  field team operational procedures to ensure
  compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  


• Proactively
  identify potential risk issues and collaborate with Regional Director,
  Construction to develop a preventative action plan to address them.


• Provide
  effective problem resolutions to facilitate improvements between the
  client/customer and field team.  Mediate
  client or subcontractor problems that arise at site level.


• Develop
  strong relationships with key constituents and work with the Site Development
  team to scope and execute projects.


• Maintain
  project database, analyze data and communicate project updates and timelines to
  Site Development team.


• Coordinate with Regional Director,
  Construction and Supply Chain to identify and partner with select vendors to for
  construction activities; review and approve project expense requests, purchase
  orders and vendor invoices.


• As a Senior Construction Manager, you may be responsible for
  resource planning based on production, recruitment, performance management and
  career development of Construction Managers. You may also be expected to
  cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business
  objectives.


• Up to 60% of time role will be
  performed outside conventional office environment.


• Other
  duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in
  Business, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work
  experience preferred.
  


• A minimum of 7 years of
  experience in wireless site construction and/or carrier deployment required.


• Between 2-3 years of
  management experience preferred.


• 
  Approximately 60% travel may be required in support of the
  position’s responsibilities.
  


• Strong organization, planning, and
  project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to
  meet requirements and deadlines.


• Ability
  to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively
  and professionally achieve results.


• Leadership qualities and capabilities;
  subject matter expert in construction principles and methods
