Senior THAAD FMS Technical Advisor

Parsons is seeking a Senior THAAD FMS Technical Advisor to provide technical expertise in the site design, deployment, and emplacement of multiple THAAD tactical sites for FMS customers of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Responsibilities:
- Direct coordination with THAAD weapon system and AN/TPY-2 element program offices and SME technical support to the interdisciplinary facility Design Working Group (DWG) regarding THAAD system emplacement, initialization, and operator / organizational level system maintenance and services.
- Advise and assist on the technical requirements of Common Support Equipment utilized at the THAAD battery. Review engineering design drawings, reports and deliverables from prime contractor.
- May be required to represent the THAAD Project Office to the FMS customer or MDA as directed.
- Assist in developing and reviewing FMS Case Amendments
- Must be able to obtain and maintain or currently possess a Secret clearance
- Frequent overseas travel to customer locations is required

Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science desired, but may be satisfied by past personal/professional experience, 10 years +
- Must currently possess an active SECRET clearance
- Detailed technical knowledge of the THAAD system configuration and functionality required
- Prior experience in the fielded THAAD system highly desired
- Prior experience in Foreign Military Sales highly desired
- Familiarity with MDA Acquisition Systems Engineering and Acquisition Management procedures desired
- Willingness to travel to the customer locations required
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, and capability to use the Microsoft Office package to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel required
