Vituity offers Internship Programs designed for Physician Assistants wishing to enter the field of Emergency Medicine with no prior ER experience including new graduates.

The Internship

Banner Boswell Medical Center - Sun City West, Arizona

• A 501-bed acute-care hospital that provides excellent patient care to the northwest area of metropolitan Phoenix
  
  
• The new, state-of-the-art emergency department opened October 2020. 65-bed ED sees 47,000+ annual patient visits and offers a full range of medical/surgical programs from urgent care to trauma care
  
  
• In 2012, Thomson Reuters named Banner Health as one of the Top 10 Hospital Systems in the U.S.
  
  
• The PAEM Internship started in 2007 and has successfully helped Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners gain ED clinical experience
  
  

• Training begins each fall and continues for 4-6 months
  
  
• Interns are expected to commit 40 hours/week throughout the program
  
  
• At the conclusion of the program, all efforts are made to help successful Interns secure regular employment with Vituity
  
  

The Opportunity

• Four to six month Emergency Medicine Internship beginning Nov or Dec of each year. Applications being accepted currently, but only after all application requirements are met
