Primary Purpose

Manage and implement content flow from Programming and Net Ops. Plan and research inventory for newly acquired media. Analyze needs for network to strategize and implement projects to meet network goals. Manage network programming schedule and network cue tones and other such technical secondary events.

Key Activities

• Edit/manipulate logs and their inventory for a broadcast television network.


• Manage program information coming through software integration.


• Manage program information through reports, emails, and other methods of communication.


• Communicate and coordinate with multiple departments including; programming, programming operations, media management, program editing, quality control, and master control.


• Maximize inventory by spotting any remnant opportunities.


• Time out logs following standards and needs of the network.


• Assist in decision making regarding process improvement and play an important role in campaign optimization determinations.


• Serve as backup to the team to provide coverage needed across the networks.


• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills

Education & Experience/Certifications

• College degree preferred


• 3-5 years of television commercial log or inventory experience required.


• At least 5 years of broadcast experience required.  


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

• Must demonstrate a clear understanding of traffic logs.


• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.


• Ability to adhere to tight daily deadlines without compromising quality.


• Ability to analyze data thoroughly to make sound decisions; embrace new ideas through expression and presentation.


• Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task.


• Proficiency in traffic systems required. WideOrbit traffic system preferred; WideOrbit Network, WideOrbit Traffic, or WideOrbit Radio.
