Nemours will be bringing a full range of Pediatric and Senior Care Services to the New Bay Health Campus in April 2021. Our facility will occupy 35,000 square feet on the first floor of a new medical office building currently under construction.

Nemours is looking for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for our new outpatient location in Milford, DE opening in April 2021! The Speech Language Pathologist should have experience evaluating and treating children ages 0 – 18 for speech/ language and feeding disorders.   Bilingual skills and knowledge of Augmentative Communication is a plus.   Staff members will be part of our larger Therapy network that includes  several locations in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Clinical support and education will be available.   Come join our team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent from an ASHA-accredited university.


• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical  fellowship Year (CFY) in-process with goal of achieving CCC-SLP within 10-12 months


• Member of professional specialty organizations (ASHA, State Speech and Hearing Assoc.) preferred.


• Clinical affiliation and/or work experience in pediatrics preferred. 


• Experience with physically and/or mentally challenged populations preferred. 


• Familiarity with speech and language development, deviation and disorders. 


• Familiarly with assessment scales and instruments, techniques of assessment and intervention with pediatric population.


• Must hold or be eligible for a Delaware License


• BLS certification Basic Life Support (within 6 months of date of hire) and must be maintained for duration of employment
