Overview

The primary responsibility or this position is to receive, document, process and disburse cash in the centralized cash room/vault. The
incumbent will accurately sort, count, record, reconcile and prepare currency and coin deposits for storage and disbursement
according to established procedures.

Position is located at Penn Square in Lancaster, PA

Hours are 8:00-1:00 Monday - Friday or 8:00-4:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Responsibilities

Receive, sort, count incoming cash deposits, reconcile amounts with incoming documentation, follow established procedures pertaining to discrepancies, utilize sorting and counting equipment
- Prepare cash disbursements for shipment to branches and customer locations, sort, count and package disbursements in prescribed denominations
- Transfer cash allotments to and from bank vault in accordance with established procedures, requiring incumbent to physically handle packages up to 50lbs
- Track and process all bulk coin received in the Cash Room through coin machine in accordance with internal policies and customer requirements
- Track, reconcile and credit customer for coin processed by armored vendor
- Provide support to Cash Room management team with transaction research, tracking and submitting research requests on line

Qualifications

Education
High School Diploma or the Equivalent Experience. (Required)Experience
6 to 12 months Cash Handling. (Required)
6 to 12 months Computer skills, including navigating vendor websites and using excel spreadsheets. (Required)
Ability to lift 50 pounds (Preferred)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
