The Assistant Men's Basketball Coach will be required to live on campus in an assigned housing facility and a meal plan will be provided.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to, assist the Head Coach with all phases of a competitive NJCAA Division II basketball program, recruiting, travel management, rules and eligibility compliance, administrative duties, fundraising, game management, academic advising, marketing, promotions and public relations. In addition, they will serve as the head coach of the JV men's basketball team, leading all daily activities for the JV men's basketball team.
Required Qualification

Associates Degree from an accredited college.
Collegiate coaching/playing experience and/or coaching experience at the high school level.
Preferred Qualification

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience competing or coaching basketball at the collegiate level.
Knowledge of NJCAA rules.
Physical Demands

Requires ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. Requires frequent bending, climbing, stooping or stretching. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, ability work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving and high-degree of inter-personal skills. Ability to do facility set-up climbing stairs, ladders, and moving moderately heavy equipment.
Work is routinely performed in an office environment. Works in gymnasiums and indoors and outdoors at athletic facilities. Frequent contact with internal and external customers and students is required.
Ability to pass a background check, a good driving record and a valid U.S Driver's license.
