Swedish Medical Center, part of HCA's HealthONE, is located in the south metro Denver area where it has been a proud member of the community for more than 110 years. An acute care hospital with 408 licensed beds, annually Swedish cares for more than 200,000 patients with a team of 2,000 dedicated employees, 500 volunteers and more than 1,400 physicians. With stroke door to treatment times averaging just 20 minutes, faster than any other facility in the world, Swedish serves as the Rocky Mountain Region's referral center for the most advanced stroke treatment and was the state's first Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a Supply Chain Operating Room Internal Control Coordinator (ORICC), you will be responsible for building, implementing and maintaining all supply chain system functions related to the Operating Room (O.R.) supplies.

In this role, you will:

* Be directly responsible for maintaining O.R. Preference cards and the O.R. Dictionaries with respect to supplies.

* Clearly communicate changes and aids with education of appropriate personnel in regards to preference card supply changes and new supply items.

* Actively participate in creating Bill Only PO's and ensure that charge codes are created for all items that do not currently have a charge code.

* Work closely with the facility Supply Chain OR Materials Manager (ORMM), and the Supply Chain Division Director of OR (DDOR) improving data integrity, and the accuracy and efficiency of the preference card change process.

* Support the Supply Chain clinical resources in margin improvement efforts, as well as patient billing review.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED, required.

* Graduate from Surgical Technology program and/or equivalent clinical training, preferred.

* Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical/materials experience, preferred.

* Knowledge with the following systems: VIRA, SMART, Meditech, preferred.

* Previous experience working in an OR setting preferred.

* Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships, required.
