Perform and assist in the overall care of patients. Including placing patient in exam room, obtain/update history, medication reconciliation, document all necessary and pertinent patient information. Provide patient education for scheduled tests, medication or home instructions. Setting up and assisting provider with minor surgical procedures and exams. Schedule and follow up on patient tests, procedures; mail or call results to patient as deemed necessary by the physician. Efficient/safe administration of medications and/or chemotherapy with appropriate monitoring via various routes, (Including IV push, VAD, IM, SQ, piggyback oral, rectal transdermal). Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or Iowa. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification required or within 90 days of hire if working in the chemo room. Chemo certification required if administering Chemo. Previous hospital or clinic RN experience preferred.
