Job Description Summary:
We are looking for an Innovation Analyst to identify new ways to deliver construction that reduces cost, and schedule while improving safety and quality. The Innovation Analysis will be a key driver of projects moving through our innovation pipeline

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Drive strategic research and analysis that will identify and evaluate solutions to build new business capabilities at Swinerton 

  • Proactively anticipate obstacles or areas of concern and help identify potential solutions

  • Coordinate transfer of research, prototypes and improved processes to the business customer

  • Assist with the evaluation and selection of new technologies

  • Conduct market research

  • Assist with testing new technologies and provide feedback to project teams and vendors

  • Use advanced analysis techniques to research, design, and develop technology to support new business solutions

  • Engage and evaluate potential partners, vendors, technologies, etc.

  • Develop business cases, including market sizing, pricing and revenue ramp-up's, run / operate cost estimates, and profitability analyses

  • Evaluate go-to-market strategies for new products or services

  • Design and conduct pilots to evaluate new product or services feasibility

  • Lead project reviews with service line and executive leadership; develop presentations and communicate recommendations

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

    MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelors degree in any Engineering field, Math, Finance/Accounting, Business or equivalent 

  • 2-5+ years related experience

  • Experience with Office Suite, SQL querys, Analytical modeling applications, Workflow diagramming, Visio/Lucid Chart

  • Strategic, analytic and creative thinker

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Works well in team environment, as well as, independently

  • Strong Workflow and process analysis skills

  • Financial Analysis


  • Experience with:

    • Revit, Solidworks or other CAD/CAM systems

    • Scripting




  • Accepts and adapts to change readily

  • Uses resources effectively and efficiently; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal

  • Learns quickly when facing new problems; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and underlying structure of issues and/or tasks 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting with executive level audiences

  • Ability to work effectively with people; can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with internal and external groups
