Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Facility Technician to join our team in Des Moines!

Some things you can expect to do:

- Replace lamps and ballasts as well as painting as directed.

- Perform door hardware maintenance and repair.

- Maintain and repair irrigation systems.

- Police property/building grounds, public areas, parking lots, roof; remove debris on a daily basis; remove ice and snow from sidewalks as needed.

- Participate in vendor management and complete client requests.

- Assist in shipping and receiving as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants. You have a high school degree or equivalent and at least a year of successful maintenance experience in a commercial environment. You have basic knowledge of computer applications, and ability to lift 120 lbs. You must also be able to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. You may be required to have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and current vehicle insurance to perform work at different locations.

- Have a technical degree in commercial building operation and equipment.
