Description

We are hiring for an In-Plant Supervisor, based at our client site located in Stone Mountain, GA. If you are interested in applying, we require that you work directly on-site with the client 1st shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm.

In this role your primary responsibility is overseeing In-Plant operations at the assigned customer. This includes responsibility for maintaining operating expenses, employee development, employee performance monitoring, implementing standard procedures, key performance indicator reporting, vacation coverage scheduling, and Safety. This position requires a high degree of interpersonal skills in order to be successful. Strong written communication skills are essential for reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:
Act as point person in operational In-Plant matters for the customer and Sun Chemical. Coordinates with Sales, CTS, and CSC leadership to ensure proper technical support within the given customer.
- Provide strong press side technical support.
- Perform minimal color matching and formulation.
- Completion of in plant personnel performance management reviews, coordinate in plant personnel training and employee development programs, work closely with Regional Manager and HR regarding employee relation matters. Address personnel performance.
- Continuous improvement and month reporting

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years industry experience
- Knowledge of MS Office and well-rounded computer skills
- Well versed in a variety of dispensing software platforms (i.e. Novaflow, Mixmaster, etc.…) and color matching technologies (i.e. X-Rite, GSL, etc.…)
Preferred:
- Water based flexo experience
Shift:
- 1st shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm
