Job Description:

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SAN MATEO, CA!

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

* Candidates should have a very good breadth of programming experience and be ready to apply their skills in any area - from JavaScript/Node to Python to Cloud and into the unknown

* Candidates should be comfortable with building software end-to-end from interfacing with sensors/cameras through a customer-presentable user interface

* Expertise in building UI/server components; Strong experience in web technologies a must!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

* Handle group's in-office status with respect to calendars, travel status, and meetings

* Work alongside adjacent teams to partner and address the highest priority work/tasks

* This may include resolving intermittent blockers identified by managers and keeping timely information in front of our team

* Responsible for short and mid-term team projects which includes initial planning, peer communications, identifying tasks, documentation and reporting

* Regular recurring tasks based around software library upkeep, office supply ordering, posting and updating newsworthy notes to knowledgebase site

* While we are Work From Home, specific duties that are centered around being physically in the office will be restricted in order to follow Covid 19 practices for the safety of the workforce; Exceptions will be identifying essential work that needs to take place and will be done in accordance to Covid policies

* As a central point of contact for the team the Admin Assistant will have a working to expert knowledge based on company applications for billing, expenses, payroll, travel, online office suites and others to the degree that you are a resource for support and direction

* Gain knowledge of the roles, policies and procedures to provide guidance to the appropriate steps in department or to an appropriate outside group

* Promote group general activities or awareness of events, required trainings Coordination for new hire and off boarding process

* Set virtual department meetings and activities

* Establish a role helping with virtual external events

* Maintain tracking responsibilities in a number of group oriented areas from equipment, distribution of software, special event lists

* Develop and create documentation for missing and new processes

* Collaborate in cross dept. Admin synchronization meetings

* Once office reopens, duties will also include those tasks to maintain an organized and well operated physical space

* Needs of the group: book meeting spaces, maintain office calendars, travel arrangements and creative social activities

* Manage distribution, tracking of physical product inventory

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

* PEOPLE: Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Able to work with all levels of internal management and individual contributors. Maintain professional communications with external customers and vendors as called for

* PROCESS: Detailed and can work independently on projects without supervision. Is able to identify and raise issues that may prevent task completion within parameters given

* TECHNICAL: Proficiency and experience with Office Suite Applications are required. You don't shy away from working with enterprise operations applications such as expense, budget, and timecards. Ease with web based applications

* PLANNING/IMPLEMENTATION: Able to couple organization and interpersonal skills to prioritize tasks on a day to day basis with the goal of completing tasks for complex objectives. Able to anticipate blockers and directly or creatively handle them

* INDUSTRY: Administrative or equivalent work experience with a technical workforce

* A degree from a four-year college is preferred. Experience in the video games industry is a plus.
