Summary:The HIPAA/Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing management of information security policies, procedures, risk assessments, HIPAA compliance, and auditing of information systems. This position will be responsible for maintaining the confidentially, integrity, and availability of all organizational healthcare information systems security processes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and coordinating HIPAA cyber security programs

- Ensure the ongoing integration and maintenance of security platforms and protocols for network infrastructure integrity

- Identify and provide recommendations to address vulnerabilities in MFB systems

- Lead information security awareness and training initiatives to educate workforce about information risk and HIPAA requirements

- Perform ongoing information risk assessments and audits to ensure that information systems are adequately protected and meet HIPAA and other regulatory requirements

- Work with staff, vendors, outside consultants, and other third parties to improve information security within the organization

- Lead incident response team to contain, investigate and prevent future computer security breaches

- Develop and maintain all documentation supporting HIPAA compliance including Privacy, Cyber Security and Incident Response Plan

- Serve on compliance committee as HIPAA/Cyber security content expert and identify risk vulnerabilities and provide recommendations and solutions for security enhancements

Essential Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Education, and Training Requirements):

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or 4 years equivalent work experience field required

- Familiarity in healthcare data integrity, compliance regulations and HIPAA.

- Strong technical skills (application and operating system hardening, vulnerability/risk assessments, security audits, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, etc.)

- Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently

- Excellent documentation skills

- Ability to weigh business risks and enforce appropriate information security measures

- Requires information management skills to communicate, explain, interpret, and present data.

- Comfortably interacts, communicates, and collaborates with senior leadership

- Physical Demands:

- Able to exert up to 35 pounds of force occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time);

- To lift, carry, push, pull, up to 35 pounds occasionally;

- To sit for the majority (1/3 - 2/3) of the time, but may involve brief periods of time involving walking or standing;

- To use keyboard frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time)
