As a Mortgage Processing Manager, you will oversee daily operation of the processing staff, including desk coverage, overflow processing, turn times and problem resolution. Proactively communicate with internal and external customers. Continually assess/improve processing policies and procedures for accuracy and efficiency. Understand and comply with all mortgage lending regulations. Meet established productivity levels and turnaround times as set by management. Create and maintain a team environment among loan officers and processing staff to complete transactions timely and efficiently. Collaborate with department managers to implement required changes. Review weekly pipeline reports and reallocate as dictated by volume. Create and maintain a team environment among loan officers and processing staff to complete transactions timely and efficiently.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting Operations Manager on projects as needed. Conduct the hiring and oversee training of all new hire loan processors and existing staff. Lead and motivate all employees within the loan processing teams; provide disciplinary action when necessary. Hold monthly processing meetings and conduct annual employee reviews. Additionally, you are expected to, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.

Associate's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

-
5+ years managing a loan processing department.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance issues affecting all aspects of the lending process, including TRID rules.

Responsive and flexible; ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and modify approaches or methods to best fit the situation.

Proficient with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong management and leadership skills.

Familiarity with local financial marketplace.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

Office setting with traditional hours.

Standing or sitting for extended periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).

Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).

Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.

Must be able to work overtime to the extent necessary.

Must be able to travel - estimated at 10% to 25% of the time.
