Our St. Francis hospital is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator for Medical Oncology. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and medical billing experience in our Cancer Center where you will be responsible for: providing insurance authorization, charge posting, coding, billing and clerical support to the department. Responsibilities include acquiring insurance authorization, data entry, and reconciliation for charge posting,coding and billing, document processing, answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments or procedures and all other duties as requested. The billing coordinator reports to the Medical Oncology Manager/designee.

* Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, by the American College of Radiology

* (CoC) Accreditation

Requirements:

*High School Diploma/GED

*Previous experience in health care or medical setting required

*Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, Must possess ability to proofread, perform basic math skills, and some experience with computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
