* Responsible for providing support for the U.S. and Puerto Rico regarding benefit programs, including health, wellness and retirement under the guidance and direction of the Benefits Manager.

* Execute the benefit strategy, in which the organization's strategic goals are met, while complying with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.

* Resolve complex benefits issues.

* Identify and develop potential programs, systems, and communication tools, ensure successful implementation and effectiveness.

* Manage vendor relationships and audit/reconcile costs.

* Work closely with internal partners such as legal, compliance, communications, labor relations, to ensure appropriate administration of plans.

* Anticipate and plan for long-term employee benefits needs and trends.

* Supervise maintenance of relevant records and data. Support/Lead annual qualified plan audits.

* Acts as technical resource and subject matter expert on the benefit plan/ policy, procedures and processes. Analyzes data, conducts investigations, and prepares reports and forecasts.

* Direct process for employee enrollment and new hire onboarding meetings.

* Collaborate with the HR Reporting & Analytics and HRIS on system performance, resolution and data integrity opportunities.

* Create documentation for new processes and able to accurately update existing documentation based on enhancements made to existing processes.

* Audit the processes and systems and provide recommendations and solutions for continuous improvement.

* Participate in testing for the implementation of new systems.

* Perform other duties as assigned and participate in and/or lead projects as needed.

Here are the minimum qualifications and essential functions for this position:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with a specialization in Business or Finance preferred. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with Health and welfare plan administration required. Related experience and/or education may be considered.

* Previous benefits administration experience with a multi-international organization preferred.

* A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience with Retirement Plan administration preferred.

* Effective multitasking, ability to manage multiple and simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required

* Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a positive, timely manner.

* Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, such as delays or unexpected events.

* Demonstrates dependability consistently at work and on time, responds to management direction.

* Must be customer service oriented.

* Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English and Spanish is preferred.
